From Oak Ridge to Richland, and everywhere in between, we had an awesome time with our American Heart Association Six-Week Summer Walking Challenge! We had 55 employees enrolled on the Association’s website to track their steps and activities over the 6 weeks.
We’ve got lots of data that came out of the Challenge, including:
- All together, we took a total of 9,266,921 steps, which translates to 3,691 miles!
- The most-logged activity was Walking, followed by Weightlifting and Gardening.
- Team Washington logged the most total distance at 1,745 miles, but Team Louisiana wasn’t far behind with a total of 916 miles!
- And when you average the miles out per person, a few employees really shine! Check out Team Texas (Ali), who logged 302 miles all by herself! And Kathy and Jodie of Team Idaho (photo HERE) averaged 182,375 steps each!
There are many ways to slice and dice the data, but however you look at it, we ALL won the Challenge by being more active!
