Revolutionaize Your Radiation Monitoring Program!
Instadose brings radiation monitoring into the digital age. Smaller than a flash drive, this rugged dosimeter provides immediate dose readings when connected to any computer with internet access. Based upon patented direct ion storage technology, instadose includes access to each user’s historical and current exposure readings. There is no need to send badges to a processing center, simplifying administration and reducing costs.
This breakthrough technology provides radiation workers with a precise measurement of radiation dose and includes accurate long-term exposure tracking. A built-in memory chip stores each user’s identity via an embedded unique serial code that is assigned to the user.
Instadose provides the flexibility to view radiation dose at any time from any computer with internet access. Readings via a PC are enabled by a USB compatible detector. Before first use, each instadose device must be registered at: www.instadose.com. During the registration process, the instadose driver and client are installed on the user’s computer and the device is initialized for use.
When a user wishes to obtain a reading he or she simply plugs in their instadose and logs-in to his or her account. The accumulated dose stored on instadose processes through a proprietary algorithm. This fully automated transfer of data minimizes the chance of human error and misidentification. Once complete, a graphical representation of the current dose displays on the screen. Users can also view cumulative dosage information.
A variety of reports are available to view and download into excel, PDF, Power Point, RTF, or Fully Editable RTF files.
Dade Moller is currently managing radiation monitoring programs that range from 1,500+ wearers down to facilities that have less than five wearers with the same level of customer service. We are fully prepared to assist you in managing your radiation monitoring program using secure online account management.
Dade Moeller will work with you to register and assign your instadose devices during initial set-up of your account. We are also available to assist with re-assignment of devices required with employee turnover. This valuable service can save you time in managing programs containing several locations or groups.
With no badge exchanges, it is possible that you may overlook your requirement to read your badges within the monitoring period defined by your radiation safety program. Dade Moeller can provide email reminders to your wearers when it is time to read their badges to stay in compliance with your radiation monitoring program requirements. This quick reminder to your wearers will give you the peace of mind that each Instadose™ device has been read on time. Additionally, Dade Moeller can provide you with a report of those wearers that are in danger of not reading their Instadose™ device within the wear period.
Dade Moeller can assist with the production of reports through online account management. Reports include current exposure readings, historical data on each device, and devices not read during the wear period.
