The Training Academy of Dade Moeller has been providing radiation safety training to over 2,100 Radiation Safety Officers and over 8,000 radiation workers in the nuclear industry. Over 8700 employees of various organizations logged on our computer based training site to receive their radiation safety training.

The focus of the Dade Moeller Training Academy is to reach a variety of clients whether they are government agencies, non-profit organizations, commercial businesses, educational institutions, or hospitals. We emphasize practical knowledge for implementing good radiation safety and worker protection programs at a reasonable cost and assuring successful safety inspections. We offer more courses with greater frequency than any other private radiation safety training provider.

We have more than 10 courses designed for managing radiation safety programs for industrial, biotech, hospital, gauge, and NORM clients, among others. For those facilities requiring radiation worker training, we are able to offer training on a variety of topics such as basic radiation safety, shipping and receiving radioactive materials, fluoroscopy safety, x-ray safety, radiation instrumentation, and industrial and sealed source device safety to name a few. To prepare our nation’s first responders and terrorism experts, we also offer courses on radiation safety and Homeland Security, how to deal with nuclear terrorism, and radiation protection for Homeland Security and emergency personnel. Our new worker safety and health offerings include courses on industrial hygiene fundamentals, fire protection, accident investigation, safety/risk management, hazard assessment, and construction safety.

The Academy is also staffed to provide professional development courses for our previous students and for those established professionals who wish to enhance their credentials. For example, we offer CHP and NRRPT exam prep courses that are available in our training centers or at your facility. To further enhance your professional development we provide courses on radiation risk communication, counseling radiation workers, and training guidance for the radiation safety trainer.
